The reasons for my current fury

Stupid little stuff:

  • This coffee is weak. Whoever brewed it is a moron.
  • That tone generator is a little too loud.
  • The people at my apartment building are too lazy to ever bring their own recycling to the curb.
  • There’s a fruit fly that won’t leave me alone

Stupid big stuff:

  • I damaged this part simply trying to reseat the memory, when all it probably needed was to have the hard drive re-imaged.  Replacement memory will be expensive and hard to find.
  • I want to smash the coworker who suggested reseating the memory instead of my first choice, re-imaging the hard drive.
  • Who the fuck designs a motherboard where the memory is soldered into place?
  • If she thought I was so goddamn awesome, why wasn’t she willing to put one ounce of effort into keeping me in her life?

Reasons for optimism:

  • After work I will go to the gym, then go to  a coffee shop to read my new Dan Simmons book, then go to Davanni’s for dinner.
  • The weekend should be nice and sunny, and I will ride my bike.
  • I’m taking next Friday off, and may take a small road trip to a quiet Minnesota lake.
  • I actually am awesome, and the best lover at least two people have had.  It shouldn’t be too hard to find a person sane enough to want me in her life.
